PLEASE do read this FAQ thoroughly before you send an e-mail, otherwise you might be left waiting for a reply for a long time ^^;

Can I use your artworks for my site/my MSN group/my signatures/tags/avatars/etc.?
      Please e-mail me first; write down your e-mail address and your site/group URL and/or where you're going to put my art at. There is NO NEED to wait for my reply; just notify me that you want to use the drawing(s). One thing I ask you to do is to give me proper credits (have my name and/or URL on the drawing, or a link to this site next to the drawing, for instance), because if you don't, you'll more or less be stealing my art from me, and I'll be very sad ;_;

Would you please draw this or that character for me?
      I like and respect requests, but that does not mean I'd draw everything you ask me to. The main problem is that what I draw totally depends on my mood, so I can't promise you anything. Do send the request though, and be detailed. At times, I find inspiration in the characters requested, and if I find it fun to draw I'll do it ^^
      I'm begging you, however, to please not pester me with request e-mails. Send your request once, and if you don't get a reply, that means I don't have time or am not in the mood to draw it. Bombarding me with repeat requests just don't increase your chances of getting it drawn. If you are really that desperate to get me to draw something for you, you might want to consider commissioning me instead (see below).

Do you accept commission work?
      Yes. Drop me an e-mail describing what kind of commission art you want (characters, pose, size, medium, etc.); I will then e-mail you back with a rough estimation of the price, and we can then discuss further details.

How long have you been drawing?
      I've been doodling ever since I got my tiny hands on a crayon, some ten or fifteen years ago :P As for my current manga/anime style, I became interested in manga/anime when I was ten or so (you know... Sailor Moon and stuff), but wasn't really into drawing in the style, not until I was in third year of Junior High School. That was, oh, four years ago, I think.

Been through any art lessons/schools?
      Nope. Unfortunately. I wish I did, really, because it would have helped me a lot with more basic stuff like anatomy or shading.

Can you teach me how to draw? Pointers? Secrets?
      Heh, honestly I'm in no position to teach anybody how to draw, since I've still got a lot to learn myself. If there's one advice I can give you, it's practice, practice, and practice. I know you've heard that lots of times, and you probably think it's a pointless advice, but I can't stress enough how important it really is. Do it, even if it's only a small doodle per day. Trust me, that's the secret ^.~

Please look at my art, and critique/comment/give feedbacks!
      I can't, and don't, critique. I'm still learning myself, so it just doesn't feel right for me to critique others' work. I'm really bad at it, too, so don't even think about it -- you _will_ be disappointed =P I suggest heading over to the Art Corner; the artists there are all very talented, and they dedicate themselves to giving feedbacks to submitted artworks.

Teach me how to use Painter/Photoshop!
      I can try to tell you, but I'd be here for a long time if I did that, since for the technicalities and basic stuff, it's always best to consult the program's own help files. You can also find books on these programs; they are able to teach you a lot more things than I ever will. Once you've gotten the basics, it's all about developing your own style -- and this can only be achieved by observing others' art, picking out the aspects you find appealing, and through practice. I will try to come up with more tutorials as soon as time permits ^^

May I link your site?
      Of course! ^^ This site is link free, meaning you can link to it freely without having to ask for my permission first. Here are some banners and buttons you can use to link my site.

Will you link/do a link exchange with my site?
      Please do not ask me to link your site, as I honestly cannot guarantee link exchanges, and it makes me feel bad to have to turn a link exchange request down. The reason for this is because I'm very lazy especially when it comes to managing my links page (^^;;) I also tend to add links at random, whenever I feel like it. So no, please do not request for a link exchange; rather, notify me if you're linking my site, and I shall drop by your site sooner or later and take a look at it. If I feel like it, I might just link it ^^~

Where can I buy Pilot Hi-Tec C pens?
      Lately I've been getting this question a lot ^^;; I bought my supply of these nifty pens in Indonesia, so I don't really know where to find them elsewhere. I've been told, however, that if there is a Kinokuniya or any other decent Asian/Japanese bookstore in your neighbourhood, you can most likely find them there.

Why "Apsylus"?
      Just because. If you didn't notice, Apsylus is the name of one of the characters from my story, Silent Prayer. As for where I got the name from, I actually made it up myself, and no, it has got no particular meaning at all -- it's just a name ^^

Why don't you reply my mail?
      It can be because of one of these reasons: (1) Your mail pisses me off (I don't get pissed off THAT easily, though :P), (2) Your mail is very rude or it contains some really inexcusable harsh words, (3) Your mail contains unreasonably large attachment(s) that I don't even ask you to send, (4) You asked a question that's already written here in the FAQ, (5) Your e-mail doesn't need to be replied, (6) I didn't get your mail because of some reasons, (7) My reply didn't get to you. I'll eventually reply all mails except for those cases, so please be patient ^^
