Tomorrow marks my personal Doomsday, as it is the day when the dreaded school report card is given. No, I'm not implying that I dislike to know my marks; it's just that it'll probably be a lot better if my parents don't have to know about the report card. Not actually caring whether my marks get better or worse, they always complain all the time O_o A slight reduce in marks usually gets me into a very long, boring lecture.... so I've got to be prepared for tomorrow *_* Hmph. This is a rather difficult time for me... as far as I know, my drawing skills aren't improving at all. The drawings stay static, if not worse than before. It might just be my impression, but all around me I see other artists improving a lot very quickly TT I feel like I'm left behind... I've never felt like this before. Usually I just feel that I suck at drawing, and I'm kinda used to the feeling. But to feel that I'm getting worse while others get better... ><

I'm, like, happy. My school report card was (surprisingly) very satisfactory, and I managed to finish a rather detailed fan art of Kuja after several long days. I even got two commission requests at once. This is just amazing; after being rather depressed last week, I suddenly feel like I'm in heaven.. or something. Nuuu~~~ XD~ My faith in my own hands and skills have also returned ^^~ Now I shall be drawing a lot (I mean a LOT) more~!! Sydney, here I come~! +DDD

I'm back from my woooonderful school vacation. Wonderful because the days without school had felt like heaven on Earth. Wonderful because I had lots of fun and the chance to completely forget school (which proved to be bad. I have loads of homework to finish O_o). And most of all, wonderful because this lady from the University of Melbourne, whom I met in a University Expo in Jakarta, thought that I was good enough and gave me a Letter of Offer for admission to the University, right on the spot. Mwahahaha. And now that I'm back home, and about to get back to school, I find that life isn't really _that_ nice :P For once, I've got a LOT of homeworks. History exam. Physics exam. Physics homework. And worst of all, math homework, for which I'm supposed to compile all the math formulas from grades 1 to 3 of High School. That is a lot. And instead of doing them, I'm typing this blog now. Dangit. I also found out that my application to Purdue University had, for some reason, arrived late, past the deadline. That means I have zero bloody chance of getting into Purdue. I really feel like killing somebody right now T_____T Ah well. Life goes on, I suppose +_+ I spent the week in Jakarta going to malls, as I'd do if I were in Singapore :P I had just enough time left to finish reading Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights, which I borrowed from my aunt (the book is older than me O_o), and I must say that it was WONDERFUL. Emily Bronte was able to convey love _and_ hate, all at once, between Heathcliff and Cathy, and I just love it how their emotions contradict. 'sides, I've seen the 1992 movie, and Heathcliff (Ralph Fiennes) was plain COOL XD~ After reading so many Agatha Christie and Star Wars novels, such a romantic, deep, and classic story as Wuthering Heights is a very nice change ^^~ BTW~ Remember when I rambled about my hair got cut? I doodled up a sketch about it :P~

Gladiator won Academy Award for the Best Picture~!! *cries in delight* God, that movie IS awesome. Russell Crowe won the Academy Award for Best Actor, and the movie also got several other Awards, including Best Sound, Best Visual Effects, and Best Costume Design. All I can say is, there's no other movie that deserves those Awards; Gladiator is one of the epic movies that actually rivals Star Wars, in terms of my favouritism... nononono, I mean, in general :P For those of you who haven't had the chance to see the movie, I highly recommend getting it; you are NOT gonna forget it anytime soon XD~~
