I'm having a Literature exam on Saturday ><;;; It's not that I hate Literature, but... I HAVE TO COME UP WITH AN @)O$@()*%#(*!) ESSAY BEFORE TODAY ENDS, otherwise I won't have time to memorize the 800-word BS tomorrow O_o;;; Problem is, I haven't even finished reading this vague, rather boring Australian novel named Fly Away Peter XP;; I so have totally no idea what to write, too =_=;;
On a brighter note, I think my artist's block's coming to an end >D~ I've been feeling terribly artistic these last few days, but of course, it might only have been because I have an exam coming up. Talk about great timing @_@;;;

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. During my er, short visit to TimeZone, a local arcade, this evening, I found that somebody had left 10 (read: TEN) credits in the Soul Calibur machine -- worth some A$11. And there were quite a lot of friends with me, so... you guessed it~ I had tons of Soul Calibur fun, enough to spend the one and a half hour we needed to spend before the movie we were going to watch started XP~ The bad (good? I don't know...) thing is that the machine is set for three-rounds-winner mode, so the winner would be the one that wins for three times, not twice as it is with the machine back in Indonesia ^^;;; It's fun though, because then I get quite a bit more chances to slaughter... er, I mean, um,... play around with my enemies >D~~
Off the topic, I have recently discovered that Mrs. Fields' cookies and gelati are very (I mean VERY) nice ^.~ Oh, not to mention the pasta and pizza in this Italian restaurant I just found... *drools*

I got the chronopolis.cc domain -- a friend gave it to me ^^;; It IS a nice domain name, but I have no idea as of what to do with it. I can do a Chrono Trigger fansite/shrine, but since I have yet to complete Chrono Cross (I have only played the game for, like, what, one hour? XP), and since the domain DOES point to both CT and CC, I don't think I can do that. Besides, I'm too lazy to maintain a fansite anyway~~ Had too much of it in the past O_o;;;
Next... oh. I'm currently planning to do a Breath of Fire IV fan art, maybe Nina or Fou-Lu. It's all because of this forum I found that's entirely dedicated to the BoF series~ Reminds me of my own fondness of the series XD~~ I also plan to do a rendition of Pyreon~~ Haven't done a drawing of it in ages ^^;;;;;
I'm entering for this month's MAG~~ The characters currently featured are Fie-chan's, I can't NOT enter ^^;;;; Vote for me? Pwease? ^__^~~

My Anne Rice vampire result:
# 1 Louis de Pointe du Lac
# 2 Akasha
# 3 Maharet/Mekare
# 4 Lestat de Lioncourt
# 5 David Talbot
# 6 Gabrielle de Lioncourt
# 7 Santiago
# 8 Armand [Amadeo, Andrei]
# 9 Marius de Romanus
# 10 Merrick Mayfair
# 11 Nicolas de Lenfent
# 12 Santino
# 13 Khayman
# 14 Claudia
# 15 Daniel Molloy
Strange huh? I never thought I resemble Louis in any way... I think Akasha fits me better O_o;;;
Next... the Suikoden character I'm most compatible with:
# 1 Kasumi
# 2 Sasuke
# 3 Flik
# 4 Freed Yamamoto
# 5 Hix
# 6 McDohl
# 7 Annallee
# 8 Ayda
# 9 Clive
# 10 Marlowe

# 13 Wakaba
# 14 Zamza

# 19 Tengaar
# 20 Bolgan
# 21 Eilie
# 22 Luca Blight
# 23 Vincent de Boule
# 24 Mukumuku
# 25 Shilo
Now THIS is weird @_@;;; I am so NOT compatible with Freed Y. Nor am I compatible with Hix, Annalee or Marlowe. But some of these are quite okay~~ I mean, Flik, McDohl, Clive and Sheena, just to name a few, I'm most certainly compatible with ^^~
=_____= I'm tired and sleepy and bored and is in a state of deep SCHOOL HATRED. Too many things to be done ><;;;; On the brighter side, though, lots of pressure usually means lots of artistic inspiration to me XD~~~

I'm trying out Adobe Illustrator 9.0~ It can thus be concluded that I *am* crazy. Why? Well, there are a number of reasons. Not sufficient ones, as Pangloss in Voltaire's Candide would say, but hey.
Do you remember the times back then, when every single online artist seems to be doing cel style CG every time, all the time? I was not mainstream then, nor am I now. I was oogling and voodling with Photoshop all the time, not caring about the fact that I was probably about the only one who actually loved doing soft CGs and prefered them to the cel style ones. Today, maybe 99.99% of the artists use Painter, and Photoshop, to do soft CGs, even watercolor-y ones. You don't see cel style CG that much anymore, except probably in anime screenshots. And yeah, of course, due to my absolute genius and sanity, I happened to pick the urge to do cel style up some dustbin and started wasting my time with Illustrator. You know that retracing thingie we always do with vector graphic? Yeah, with the pen and all? This is the first time in my life I've ever touched the pen tool, and holy cow, I have two essays that are due TOMORROW. I spent about eight hours today retracing a lame sketch, while I usually don't even INK.
@$)*@%)(*!#)(*#%*@ Better stop writing this now and start doing my essays...
*looks at the clock* .... it's 2:58 AM now, BTW. Behold the magic of art that can make hours fly.

Savage Garden and 5ive split T_T;;; Yea, I know I'm a bit late, but my friend in German just sent me an e-mail telling me about it. Otherwise I wouldn't even have known XP~ So sad... both are two of my most favourite bands~~ Urgh...

Nuuu~~~~ My feel-like-being-artistic days of the month have arrived, and now I don't know which drawing I should finish working on first XP I have this Locke piccie I was supposed to finish for his birthday on Nov 24~ It's Illustrator 9.0 schtuff, and since I'm VERY new to Illustrator, vector graphis AND the pen tool, don't expect anything nicer than that >D~~ I also have a Harry Potter sketch, which I intend to finish coloring before the movie comes out here in Melbourne... which is on Nov 29. Aaand several other projects that I haven't even started working on. Sheesh... I need more hours in a day... T_____T;;;

I saw Harry Potter today~~~! It was a bit disappointing for me because a lot of the scenes from the book were mising, but nevertheless, it was very astonishingly and amazingly well done. The characters looked exactly like how I'd imagined they would be, especially Albus Dumbledore. The kids were very cute, too~~ XD~ Oh, and I'm now officially a Severus Snape and Wood fan~~~~~~ *drools uncontrollably* Snape was just so... Snape. And the guy that played Wood was cute beyond belief. The Quidditch scene was very nice~ It's a pity that they didn't show much of the centaur Firenze... and Norbert... *sniff*. They didn't show the part about the potions... why the heck was Hermione awarded points for "calmness of mind in the face of danger" if she didn't solve the potions riddle? O_o;;;
Nuu~~ the movie makes me want to read the books again... problem is, all four hard cover HP books I have are in Indonesia, and are currently in my brother's possession. I SO don't want to have to buy another set of HP books, but I want to reread them... T____T;;; Hrm...
BTW, I think the movie should be given at least PG-13 rating~ (it hasn't been given a rating yet here in Australia, FYI) It's got quite a couple of scenes that are sure to frighten younger kids... a 19-year-old friend of mine (who hadn't read the book) actually yelped out loud when she saw the back of Quirrel's head XP~~
Bleh... should sleep... but still have so many drawings to finish and so many games to play... and so many exams and assignments to think of ><;;;;;;
