GOODNESS GRACIOUS OKAY calm down caaalm down. I was literally FLOORED. 11 Oscars! For 11 nominations! That's like... whoah. Totally record-breaking. For a fantasy movie, too. It's so... world-changing, I guess.

Had my first day of 2004 university classes today, can't say it was too interesting. I've resolved to put way more effort than I did last year though, since it's my last year and all~

My first week of uni in 2004 is about to end already, only 11 left! O_O; I gotta say that this semester sounds tough, what with all the project work etc. Contact hours are a lot less than usual, but the uni, of course, manages to make it up by giving us craploads of work that we're going to spend hours outside class on. That means my time management skills must be given an upgrade. A REAL ONE.

Went to the Federation Square today, and finally got to try dining at the infamous Chocolate Buddha. Everyone who's been there kept telling me that it was really delicious food, but I hadn't gotten around to going there. After quite a bit of waiting (boy, was it crowded), we finally got our food, and they were all heavenly. From the tori miso ramen, gyoza, to the white chocolate chai, oh yum.

Of course, by now everyone would have noticed that I resort to good food to keep my stress level down XD

One reason why I like doing drawings/pics/etc. for other people, is that when I'm finished and I show the end result to them, and they love it, it's just sooo worth it X3 No amount of money ever really overcomes that satisfied feeling that tells you you've done something right ^O^

Weather today was absolutely fabulous. Totally wonderful; just the sort of weather you'd love to hang out at a lovely cafe sipping a heavenly cup of mocha in... and that's what I did =D

RIP, Michel Koiter of Twincruiser. The twins were such an amazing pair, I'd always thought how nicely their skills complimented each other, and I'd always liked how they combined their different talents to come up with amazing works of art.

My deepest condolences to René and the family, your brother will always be remembered.

Went to Max Brenner today. If you've never heard of it, Max Brenner's outlets are, in short, a chocoholic's heaven. I don't even consider myself a chocoholic, but all the chocolate goodness there are so good they're overwhelming. I had the most divine chocolate souffle, with melted chocolate center, and a cup of hot dark chocolate, which was terrific. I also got to sip the cold thick dark chocolate shot, which was as thick and chocolatey as it could possibly get. And, of course, I just had to have a bite out of the dark chocolate truffle, which was... well, divine (I'm running out of words here). Chocolate. Why must thy be so good? X3
