Bought one half of a personal watermelon today at Woolworths; personal watermelons are these small watermelons meant for one or two person(s), 20cm or less in diameter. It fits nicely into the fridge, and the one half serves for a great snack/fruit portion/dinner/whatever. It's like... having a bowl of watermelons that you can hold in your hand, literally X3; Very sweet and juicy and no need for cutting! Yaaay XD

Had a midterm exam yesterday, and now I'm on my lovely Easter break. I just had to celebrate the freedom - last night I went to this really nice steakhouse, said to be the best in Melbourne. Well, I certainly had no complaints about the food; it was very nice, and certainly very fulfilling for the carnivores. The steak was unbelievably tender and juicy, and I loved the dessert a lot - rolled pancake stuffed with strawberries with ice cream on top. Yum =3

I'm hooked to Full Metal Alchemist, the manga. Art is excellent, story is near perfect, action is exciting, and the characters can't get any more lovable. Pity we can't get the scanlations faster~

One thing I realized about people, including myself, is that usually it's very difficult to find the positive side of things in life and be thankful for what we have. We always tend to focus on what we're missing, what we're doing wrong, what goes bad, etc. When life brings you down, all you need to do is SHIFT your perspective, and you'll see that it's not all gloom and doom. THEN you will find that good things are heading your way, and you'll embrace them, instead of rejecting them, which is what you'd do if you keep seeing things in a negative light. The world is beautiful.

I'm feeling extremely blessed to have such a wonderful life, with wonderful friends and family, and I hope I get to express love to others as much as others have to me.

I had a reunion dinner with my Trinity Foundation Studies friends last night; we had all-you-can-eat steamboat, which was definitely filling. Generally, dinner was good, as was the company. Afterwards, we decided to go to Crown and find a movie to watch~ Most of us ended up watching The Butterfly Effect, which was neat. I definitely liked the plot ^^

I have just discovered that the convenience store/supermarket across the street from my place has a really nice and comfy cafe on its second floor. I'd known that the cafe was there all along, but I didn't know that it was such a cozy place... nor did I know that it has a better-than-average selection of cafe food, though the coffee could be better. But it's all about the location! It's just sooooo comfy; I can just imagine myself getting settled there during exam cramming studying time.

My dad was here for about a week; he arrived last weekend and left yesterday morning. I had to suspend all of my planned activities (that means no work, no projects, no classes -luckily there were so few, since he came on the weekend, no anything else for about a week -no updates either, sorry). It was just my dad and us, and we went wherever he wanted to go. I missed him so, even though I'd spent nearly three months with my family just a month or two ago, during the holidays. I do notice that I'm just that much happier when either or both of my parents, along with my little sister, are around; does that mean I'm a spoiled little princess? ^^;
