Long time no entry :) I think I better write something before I forget this journal even existed. So many things have happened in my life within the last month, I don't even know where to start...

I quit my part-time job at Subway last week, and started a new job as a junior programmer for a web development company here in Melbourne today. It's really good, especially because I could do it part-time for now, and switch to full-time after I finish university this November. It also relates to my course of study, which means good industry experience. Perhaps the best thing about it is that it's web programming - something I've been intending to do all along.

My first day was enjoyable - the people were very nice, and I got to learn ASP. I could see myself learning a lot from this company and its people - I just hope I'd be able to get through my last couple of months of university just fine. I would want my grades to shine still, despite the fact that I won't need to look for a job after graduating. I'll need them numbers for postgrad.

Other than that... I went to Sydney as a tourist for the first time last month. Yep, that's right - after three years of residing in Australia, I finally got to take a picture of myself with the Sydney Opera House in the background. In addition to having Pancakes on the Rocks for five days straight. Mmmm.
