This morning I called my mum just to find that my dad was in the hospital, and that he was undergoing catheterization to check for blockage in his cardiac vessels. He's had light attacks/anginas (I'm not sure which) a couple of years back, and already had a thorough check up in Singapore then.
It was good that he decided to have another check up today, because they found that one of his arteries was 80% blocked, and thus needed to be blown straight away. He's now in the ICU, apparently well enough to go home (so he says, but he's a stubborn one), with two stents in the one artery.
I'm just so glad and grateful that he's fine... that he decided to have the check up... that the angiopathy went well. Thank God.
