Watched Superman Returns the other day, and it was terrific! I never expected I would dig a man in blue skintight suit and red underwear, but Brandon Routh looks absolutely smoldering as Superman. Maybe I should watch the original Superman movies now.

The only problem though - as a friend of mine mentioned - the "perfect" Superman movie would be one where someone actually dies, specifically Superman himself. It just seems that no matter what happens he lives! Not that that's not a good thing - but maybe a bit of drama could make it a bit less repetitive? Though I guess this isn't like X-Men, where if you kill off one of the main characters the show could still go on, because it couldn't.

Some things in this world are simply a mystery. Sometimes it's not very clear why certain things happen, why they have to happen, things that take away parts of one's happiness. I would like to believe though, that at the end of all this, there are great things. Great plans that will unfold and be made clear as time passes, and all will be well. All that one can do is to put one's best into life, and life will give back the best in return.
