Born in a small, peaceful village in the outskirts of Artema, her parents were brutally murdered by people who, she remembered, had supernatural, terrible powers and were very powerful. She was then raised by an old, retired knight, who taught her swordsmanship. The old knight was like a father to her, teaching her about the values of life and love. He told her to not have revenge, as it would solve nothing. When he died, she set out on a journey to understand what the old knight had said better, employing her incredible swordsmanship to work as a mercenary for a living, as deep inside her the flames of revenge were still burning. She has a set of gems on forehead that links with those on her sword, enabling total sword control. She doesn't really carry the sword around -- it materializes from nowhere into her hands when she needs it. For lighter use (i.e. when the sword is not really needed), she uses a pugio, which is a short dagger that is wide near the hilt and has a slender, pointed tip. She is also a telekinetic -- able to move things with her mind. Needless to say, this gives her a great advantage in battle. Her former mercenary partner Lovato died protecting her in a mission seven years ago, but she seems to remember none of that -- as far as she knows, she has always been working alone. As to why she seems to have not aged at all in seven years remains a mystery (she still looks like exactly how she was when she was 20 seven years ago) ... at least until she regains her memory, which will be more or less triggered by her reunion with Deos.
